1. When and where is the conference?

Qgiv Conference will be September 20-22, 2020 in Orlando, FL at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress.

2. Can non-Qgiv customers attend this conference?

Of course! If you want to learn how to be a better fundraiser, this conference is for you. Nonprofit consultants are welcome to attend, as well!

3. Will the conference only have Qgiv-focused sessions?

Nope! We’ve included something for everyone! There will be fundraising-related sessions and Qgiv-focused trainings.

1. What does the ticket price include?

Your registration includes admission to the conference, admission to networking and social events, and meals throughout the day. It does not include your hotel or any travel costs.

2. What meals are included in my registration?

Meals included in your registration are breakfast and lunch on Monday and Tuesday, light buffet at the pre-conference reception on Sunday, happy hour on Monday, and a buffet on Monday night at the social event.

3. Can I register for just one day of the conference?

No. Registration fees include the full conference. There is no single-day option.

4. I need to change the name on my registration. Can I do that?

Yes! Please email events@qgiv.com and include the current registration name and the contact information for the person you want to transfer to. Request must be made by the person the registration is currently made for.

5. Do you have a letter of intent that I can submit to my boss?

6. Do you offer any group discounts?

Yes! Purchase five full conference passes and get one free! This discount can’t be combined with any other discounts or promotions. All passes must be purchased at the same time in one transaction.

7. How do I register and schedule my 1:1 client meeting?

On the registration form, you’ll have the option to select if you’d like to schedule a 1:1 client meeting. If you select yes, a Qgiv staff member will reach out to schedule your meeting.

8. What can I expect from a 1:1 meeting if I schedule one?

1. Where should I stay during the conference?

Qgiv Conference will be hosted at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. We have secured a discounted rate for attendees.

2. How do I book my room at the conference hotel?

3. What airport is closest to the hotel?

Orlando International Airport is approximately 17 miles away.

1. Where do I go to check in?

Check-in will be at the front desk of the Qgiv Conference area. Directional signage will be placed throughout the hotel to guide you.

2. Where do I go for my 1:1 client meeting?

In the main conference hallway, there will be a check-in desk for 1:1 meetings. Please check in and a staff member will direct you where to go.

3. Will there be opportunities to network with other attendees?

Yes, there will be multiple networking events. You can also connect and chat with attendees through the official conference app. For more details on the app, please emails us at events@qgiv.com

4. Do I need to bring my laptop?

That’s completely up to you! We recommend that you bring your laptop to take notes at the sessions, but it’s not required.

5. What is the conference attire?

Business casual. We recommend bringing a sweater or jacket just in case the session rooms are chilly.

6. Will there be Wi-Fi available onsite?

Yes!

7. When will the exhibit hall be open?

Monday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm | Tuesday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

8. What services are available for special needs and requests?

For any special needs or requests, please email us at events@qgiv.com and we’ll make sure your requests are accommodated.

9. How do I receive my CFRE credits?

There will be an education tracker for attendees to use to track the CFRE credits they’ve earned at the conference. You may use this to enter in your points into your CFRE application.

Qgiv incurs significant expenses before the event. Therefore, we must maintain the following refund and cancellation policy:

  • Qgiv Conference registration fees are refundable within 60 days of purchase through August 20, 2020.
  • No cancellations will be accepted more than 60 days past the purchase date.
  • Beginning August 21st, no refunds will be issued.
  • No-shows will not be refunded for any reason. No exceptions.
  • We do not give credit toward future conferences.
  • Registrations are fully transferable. To transfer a registration, email us with the following information about the new attendee: name, email address, job title, organization, and city & state of residence.
  • Qgiv reserves the right to refuse service.
  • All cancellations must be made in writing through email. All registration refunds will be processed by October 31, 2020.
